First QOV is 2018
I just finished quilting my first QOV top for 2018. This was made by Joan, a member of our Stitching Sisters group. I used this panto. I bought it from Digi-Tech. However, on January 1st, Digi-Tech merged with Urban Elementz. … Continue reading

Thank you for all of your kind comments yesterday. I think making quilts like this help one process. I know it is silly, but cutting his shirts up was the hardest part. It was like admitting to myself that he … Continue reading

Quilting the Wild Child
I asked Daughter #1 if this was too wild for a baby quilt. She said it’s admittedly bright, but okay. Good thing, I didn’t know what else I’d do with this. In my mind, I started thinking of it as … Continue reading

Harry’s home. Sadly, I didn’t notice this until I got him back on the frame. The needle should be in the center of the foot. I spent nearly $150 yesterday and ended up fixing this myself this morning. I have … Continue reading

If you give a mouse a cookie….
….he’s going to want a glass of milk….. That’s how the children’s book goes. The moral is that one thing leads to another. That’s exactly how this project got started! After I basted a small quilt on the longarm, I … Continue reading
