Oh, I almost forgot! It’s Better than Black Friday at AccuQuilt !
That’s 40% off EVERYTHING! Just place an order for $40 or more and use the code FRIDAY40 at checkout. But hurry, this deal ends at midnight on October 23rd.
I finished the hand quilting on this little doll quilt on our way home, but then it sat around for a while waiting for the binding.
It is quilted pretty heavily, but I had time in the RV to do it.
All the fabrics are vintage except for the binding.
The backing is plain muslin.
The enamel number plate was purchased in Iceland at a flea market. Seventy-three was our house number when we lived in France years ago. We had an address plate like this back then. It seemed to match the quilt.
This is my first finish since we got back. Finally.
Have a great day!
PS Carolyn Henderson, you left a comment that I am unable to respond to. I am not a dealer and do not sell long arm machines.
Notice anything different between these first two photos?
As soon as I finished quilting those four quilts this week, I sold Harry 2! Within minutes of posting, a lady messaged me. She came, bought, and went home happy. 😊
He has served me well. But when I sold my HQ Forte last January, I decided I would sell my Avante as well and try something new.
So here is my something new!
She’s a 2012 Gammill Vision with a 22 inch throat. I couldn’t have done this without this guy.
Moving a long arm to a second story quilting room is no joke!
I have a lot to learn and I am certain there will be an adjustment period, but I’m very excited!
You knew this would happen, didn’t you? I just haven’t been thrilled with my sewing room ever since I moved the long arm to the side.
The room also needed a deep clean and I needed a reminder of what I even have here. So I rolled up my sleeves and made a worse mess.
I still have an awful lot of work to do, but this is where things stand now.
One of my goals, was to get all the fabric storage in one area. Yes, I’m concerned about fabric fading from these windows. I’m trying to come up with a solution for that.
The island on the left below is all for cutting. The one on the right is for sewing.
This is the corner of shame. 🤦🏻♀️ So much work to do here.

Now it’s time to get back to work. Have a great day!
I finally took a minute to get the binding started on this little quilt. Yes, that is Willy Boy underneath.
Ever since Covid started, I’ve groomed my dogs myself. I’m very happy to say that I have a new dog groomer! Daughter #2 is now a certified groomer and has been working at a salon here in AZ. I’m hanging up my clippers and letting her do it from now on. Doesn’t Winslow look adorable?
Willy didn’t want his photo taken, but he looks so good too. She is clearly much better at this than I am. 😁
We celebrated by going to In and Out Burger.
They have Pup Patties for the dogs. They loved them!
My heart is broken for all those affected by the hurricanes. It can be difficult to know how to help in these situations. Samaritan’s Purse is an organization that is well trained and effective at helping. If you ar3 looking for a solid organization to donate to, I recommend Samartitan’s Purse.
If you are wanting to send quilts, here are a couple options.
Now onto my own stuff. 🙂
This is a list of projects that I kitted up before leaving AZ last spring. I didn’t finish everything, but I did several projects that weren’t even on the list.
I saw this ad on FB Marketplace recently. It’s a card table for a Singer Featherweight!
My dear SIL and Daughter #2 picked it up for me and it was in my AZ living room awaiting my return. 😊
