A New Quilt of Valor

Some time ago, I picked up four FQ bundles like this for a song.

While reading Judy’s blog, Small Quilts and Doll Quilts, I was inspired! I grabbed these two dies and a cream solid and got to work.

All cut and ready to sew! Note: these are the pieces for just one block.

My version of this block finishes at 18 inches. I will make 16 blocks for a finished quilt measuring 72 by 72 inches. I’ll use up two of these FQ bundles, plus the cream yardage.

I think this will be perfect for a Quilt of Valor.

Have a great day!

love the block with the plaids. it is such a nice pattern that it could be done in lots of different themes – a theme print for the big square and then coordinates. quick and easy. thanks for giving sizes. as slow as i’ve been it’ll be ages before i get this done. patti in florida
