Slow Stitching Sunday

Today I’m bindng the little quilts from Lori’s Steppin’ Out Class.

I’m using that leftover ugly binding on the red one.

I’m not happy with the quilting on the red and white one, but I learned a lot doing it. I’ll share the finishes soon.

Before I go, check out this gorgeous cactus!

And yes, I did stop the truck on the side of the road and run across a couple lanes of traffic to snap these pics!

    Wow, beautiful cactus! How long do the blooms stay on them, looking beautiful? Sew glad you are enjoying your machine. I take it that the dogs came from downloaded photos? Or they were part of a computer program?

    I rather like the “ugly binding” as binding – and the contrast with the red. Challenging fabric to use elsewhere, perhaps? Fabulous cactus.
