Slow Stitching Sunday

The quilting has begun, though not without issues. All of my own doing. 🙄

It doesn’t show up real well in these photos.

I now have five of the fifteen blocks quilted.

My backing and batting are barely big enough. I had several blocks quilted before I realized I had a seam on the back of the backing facing outward. Ugh. I’m soldiering on and will figure out what to do with that later.

Have a great day!

No matter what mistakes I think it is beautiful!

A quilt like this really shows how beautiful hand quilting really is – and makes the quilt so so soft and drapey in the end. I hope you find a good solution to the small hiccup!

i think it looks wonderful. here’s an idea for the seam on the back. make your label (for the quilt) and applique it over the mistake. if that doesn’t work why not cover it with a blue or red strip to cover. just random thoughts that hit me. you know i love your stuff. hugs. patti in florida
