Yesterday part 2 of this little quilt along came out. I decided it was high time I got part 1 done!
I was glad I already had a bunch of 1 1/2 inch squares cut up. I just had to pick through to find the colors I needed. The four patches went together very quickly.
I decided to move ahead to part 2. Again, I grabbed my bin of 2 1/2 inch squares and picked out all the browns I needed.
I got my pieces together.
It’s looking mighty busy right now! Lori said to look for a directional print for the next step. I’ll do that today.
Thanks so much for all the feedback yesterday regarding quilting by mail. I think I’m going to give it a trial run. I plan to work up the details this week.
Have a great day!
This is gooing about your question. No doubt you can do it!
Be aware of good communication about: pattern, price, batting, may be the binding.( extra money)
It is a pitty for me that you are not living nextdoor……Longarmquilting is the finishing touch!
I like the way your squares are organized! Are they by color too?
Its looking good. Mine look like a jumble of browns too. Will be stitching part 2 later today.
Well done! I’m so busy with work right now I probably won’t be able to join in, so I’ll enjoy the QAL through your photos!
