A Little Quilt

I went to an antique mall with my son last week. I saw this little quilt and had to bring it home.

It’s a child sized quilt and tied without any batting. That makes sense for Arizona. The fabrics are charming!

It is all hand pieced. I’m not usually a fan of tied quilts. I’m thinking about taking it apart and hand quilting it.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I am curious what you paid for it. Seems to have some construction issues but charming nonetheless.
