This and That

I finished piecing the top for the wedding quilt.

And I added a border to this Puss in the Corner top.

I even got the bindings made for both of these as well as the binding for a QOV that I’m working on.

I should have three quilts ready to go whenever my long arm is finally up and running.

I came across these vintage blocks while rummaging around and put them up on the design wall to ponder. They are about five inches. They might go back into storage.

The redecorating continued this week with the arrival of my new sofa. I love it!

And the weather was nice enough to have open windows all week. Not sure what Winnie was up to here….silly girl!

Have a wonderful weekend!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

That look on Winnie’s face – I’m sure you caught her doing something she wasn’t supposed to. Just look at her!! The new couch looks fabulous – I love the chaise lounge! And I sure thought you’d be back in longarm business by now . . . I imagine you thought so too. Here’s to Monday having what’s needed being delivered in one, whole usable piece. That’s not too much to ask. ~smile~ Roseanne

I think Winnie was enjoying the nice weather; wishing she could go for a walk!
