Craft Night

Monday night was our second craft night with the gals from church. It was so much fun! We finished our string art and added lettering. Here’s mine.

I love my big sewing room. It was awesome to see it filled up with wonderful friends having a good time.

I finished my project ahead of time so I could do a quick demonstration at the beginning and then held a sweet baby boy so his momma could work on her projects.

At the rate this is growing, we might have to spread to other parts of the house!

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

    Hi Katy,
How fun! I would have finished up early too just to hold that baby. I’ll bet mom appreciated your kindness, and what a fun outing for her and the baby with lots of friends. ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. What a great idea, hosting a craft night in your home! Isn’t it fun to see and hear friends enjoying each other? The crafting is just a bonus, I think!

I have craft night in my house once a month and after seeing your string art last time, we decided that would be our April craft. Thanks for the great idea! How long did it take for everyone to get their nails into their boards?

  4. I would TOTALLY come to this craft night if I could! 🙂 String art brings back some good memories for me.

That looks like a lot of fun! Hugs,

  6. Oh what fun! What a wonderful thing to do. I’m sure it was a hardship to hold a baby the whole time too – wink!

  7. It’s awesome that you have enough room to host so many friends. I had my quilt bee (four of us) for a sew day. Sewing is fun with friends.
