Carolina Blues

One of my goals for each month this year, is to make something that I’ve pinned on Pinterest. I was inspired to break open this layer cake by the little quilt on this blog post by Marianne Edwards. Marianne does such lovely work!

Here are my cut pieces.

I used this die set from Accuquilt to cut my pieces. I used the 2 inch and 4 inch dies.

The accuracy is amazing with these dies!

I hope to have this little quilt finished by tomorrow. Come back and see!

Have a good one!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I love your fabric, and can’t wait to see what you do! I know Marianne from a group I’m in and she does do beautiful work. Hugs,

  2. Love these fabrics! Would these be considered reproductions? I’ve never heard of Marianne Edwards but I think I’ll have to check her out!
