Slow Stitching

I’ve made some slow progress on this project.

I had some questions the last time I shared this. This is the template I used. I think I bought it on eBay, but it was years ago.

I have three strips pieced. I folded it in half to take the following pictures.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I can’t imagine cutting all those pieces with a template (again). My back aches just thinking about it.

It’s gorgeous and will be so unusual. Are you doing it by hand? I don’t think I’d want to machine piece that!

Lots of scrappy goodness and hand stitching in those rows. It’s going to be a fun and fabulous quilt.
