Quilts of Valor

First of all, THANK YOU! for all the advice concerning my design wall. You’ve given me much to think about. In the past, I used the back side of a dollar store table cloth. It worked better than the Warm and White. It is, as some mentioned, getting pilly and it is difficult to remove the threads with a lint roller. I love the idea of having a grid on my wall. I will let you all know what I end up doing.

I picked up several tops from the Stitching Sisters QOV group last week and spent most of the weekend quilting them up. Here are the first three I finished form this batch.

The quilting doesn’t show on this backing, but I sure love this fabric!

I’ll show the last three in another post. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
