Design Wall Monday

I hope you all had a great weekend! Thank you for all of your lovey comments on my Scrappy Lattice quilt that I showed on Friday. You are all so kind and generous with your comments! This is what is on my design wall today:

I have more pieces to make more blocks also.

I would like to finish piecing the rest of the blocks today. But first, I have to finish these:

These are drapes to go on the stage at church. I have 8 panels to make today and 4 already done. Then I can sew my projects. I  have another QOV in the frame and I need to figure out how to quilt it.

Isn’t it beautiful? It was made by one of our talented toppers in the Stitching Sisters QOV group. I have chosen Glide thread in “Sand” to quilt it.

The next step for the Humble Quilts QAL comes out today also. So many projects, so little time!

Our local antique festival was this past weekend. It wasn’t as much fun without Mr. Wonderful. I did find a few more pieces of enamelware.

And this lovely 1930’s quilt block.

You have so many good projects going on at one time. I love the block you found at the festival. Now THAT’s a scrap block! Your tree quilt is looking wonderful, too.

  4. Your tree quilt looks fabulous. You have been busy. And the wonderful enamelware.

That QOV quilt really is something special, I really like the colour tones – a bit like a slightly faded flag. Perhaps you could quilt some stars on it? Don’t envy you coping with all that drape fabric, hope there’s plenty of help when it comes to hanging them.

  6. The thread you’ve chosen is so pretty! I can’t wait to see what you do with the QOV quilt.

That tree quilt is really looking fantastic … I’m loving it.

The “sister” quilt is coming right along; I think it’ll be quite the beauty. Always thrills me to see one of my tops on your longarm. Love the thread color you chose!
