We are One Nation Under God.
I’m not good at responding to comments lately, I’ll blame it on my bum wrist. The burp cloths have flannel on one or both sides.

Hope this helps!
Our fifth grandson is due this week! I’m ever so excited to meet Tiny E. Daughter #1 asked me to make some burp cloths for him.

These are so easy. You can probably find a free pattern online. I can’t remember where I got mine, I’ve used the same one for years. Mine is made out of freezer paper. I just place my two pieces of fabric right sides together and press he temp, and so it adheres to the top layer.

Then I sew around the pattern, using the edge of the freezer paper temp, ate as a guide.

Then trim away the excess fabric.

Turn right side out and press.

Then I top stitch close to the edge which also closes the opening I left for turning.

And there you have it! In no time at all I had nine burp cloths made.

Have a great day!
It’s that time again! My June goals were:
1. Quilt any QOVs that come in. Done! I quilted 6 this month. Here is one.

2. Make a quilt for Little L who will be turning three the end of this month. Not done. Looks like this will be a Christmas quilt!
3. Make a couple donation quilts. I made one!

4. Make one item from my Pinterest boards. Done!
5. Finish my Puss in the Corner quilt. Not done.
What else did I do?
I finished hand quilting my little vintage 9 patch.

I made a baby quilt that I will share soon.
I made burp cloths for our new grandson.
And I finished another tiny quilt.
July will be busy! Grandson #5 is due on the 5th and Papa and I are taking care of the big brothers. I’m also scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery on the 16th. So I’m going to keep things very simple here.
1. Finish my Puss in the Corner quilt.
3. Decide on a plan for a quilt made from ties.
That’s it. Anything else I get done will be bonus!
Have a great day!
I cut these tiny tumblers out ages ago. I pieced them together a few months ago and I finally got around to finishing this!

The tumblers finish at 1 1/2 inches high. So this little quilt is about 6 by 9 inches.

Here is the back.

I was motivated to quilt it because I wanted to try out this new toy. I picked this up at a garage sale recently. I don’t know much about Pfaffs, but I was intrigued by the dual feed system. And it was dirt cheap. I plugged it in and it sewed like a champ!

It needs a bit more cleaning up, but it seems to be a sweet machine. And I’m glad I finally finished this little quilt.

I think I’ll use it for a mug rug. Have a great day!
Here is the last of the Quilts of Valor for a while. This top was also pieced by Nadine.
I think this may be a Missouri Star pattern, but I’m not certain.

I kept the quilting simple so as not to compete with that lovely piecing.

Have a great day!
I’ve finished hand quilting my little quilt made from vintage blocks!

It’s hard to see the texture on the front, but it really shows on this vintage feedback I used for the back.

I used a bit of vintage fabric for the binding as well.

I cant get enough of this texture!

This is now hanging in my family room. It is quite wonky, but I just love it!

Have a great day!

This beautiful QOV was pieced by Cheryl. I love how the one star has a red center!

Here is a look at the back.

And this is the pantograph I used. It is available from Urban Elementz .

This beautiful top was made by Kathy. I love the colors! It is red, white, and blue, but in a more subtle palette.

It feels very restful to me.
