Sweet Bambi

Daughters #2’s eldest dog crossed the rainbow bridge last Saturday. It is a devastating loss for all of us.

Bambi took care of my girl when I couldn’t be there. I took care of her and her sister, Winnie, when Daughter #2 was deployed. She was a sensitive, old soul. She always knew who needed her and loyally sat with anyone in pain. You can read a bit more about her here.

She was one of a kind. Run free, sweet girl.

Thank you. I love that thought!

  3. So sorry, Katy. It’s hard to lose our pets. They wiggle their way into our hearts and become part of the family. Hugs.

I have such a hard time posting comments to your posts.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting sweet Bambi when she was in your care. I am sending up prayers of comfort for your family. I’m also smiling at the thought of Bambi, Willie, and Pierre meeting up and running free together.
