String Blocks

I’ve been working on a secret sewing project, but here are some blocks I thrifted recently.

They are foundation pieced on muslin. I could just make one more block and the size would work for a quilt club donation quilt. I’m wondering how I could make it more interesting. These are definitely outside my wheelhouse.

Hmmmm….

Have a great day!

Try adding light triangles (scrappy or the same) to the two corners that end with the light center strip.

Perhaps you could embellish the blocks with embroidery down the central beige strips?
