Kite Blocks

It didn’t take long at all to piece these little blocks.

I played around a bit with setting ideas.

But nothing really clicked.

Then I remembered these blocks from the Ladies Aid BOM that I did last year. Hmmmm….

Definitely needs a colored sashing if I do this.

That is really wide sashing. But I think I like it.

I’m going to think on this a while.

    Many older quilts have wider washings than we normally use today. This will be a great use for these gems.

    That’s a great option! The colors work great together. I, too, like the cornerstones on point.
