Book Report

I’ve read some good books lately. If you read, Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate, you will enjoy this.

I’m not sure how to classify this next novel. It is unlike any other I’ve read, but I enjoyed it very much. Just a good story.

I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by this next author. Actually, I’m not sure that is the correct word for this book. It was riveting, sad, ultimately…..not quite triumphant…. Perhaps, satisfying?

This next one was a suggested title when a book I tried to download was unavailable. I loved it!

This is not a book, but a TV series on Amazon Prime.

Oh my goodness! The mister and I loved this! I just found out there will be a second season. I won’t miss it. It’s hard to find good TV shows and this exceeded my expectations.

Have you!

Thanks for the recommendations. Lisa Wingate’s books are really good. We’re gradually watching Murdoch Mysteries on Acorn TV — up to season 9. I’ll check out Clarkson’s Farm. This summer I began a separate blog thread for what I’ve been reading each week.

  5. We enjoyed Clarkson’s Farm, too – good to know there’s a second season. I used to read Lisa Wingate – I have some catching up to do.

Have you read A Man Called Ove? Or the 100 Year Old Man That Climbed Out the Window? Both great reads.
