Little Red Baskets

I’ve been having fun playing with this project. Here is the template I made for my baskets.

It was traced from the pattern in this magazine.

The quilt and pattern are by Lori from Humble Quilts.

Here are my baskets cut out and ready to fuse.

Ta daaaa!

I shouldn’t kid myself, I still have all the stitching around the baskets yet to do.

I cut all my leftover fused scraps into circles with my die cutter.

These are the dies I used.

Hmmmm….perhaps they would add a touch of whimsy….

I’ll have to think more about that.

This is the fusible I use.

It’s available at Walmart quite inexpensively.

Have a great day!

I’m so glad you are having fun with the baskets! And because I’m reading from the newest to the oldest, I’m glad you left out the circles!

Such fun baskets! I love them in red.
Have you ever used a fusible that dissolves in the wash or in water? I’ve only ever done turned-edge applique so just wondering.
