Design Wall Monday

I decided to move ahead with my Puss in the Corner blocks.

I really love this yellow fabric for the alternating blocks.

I wasn’t sure I’d have enough, so I considered using something else around the edges.

I’ve done this before and I like the faux border effect. In the end, I had just enough yellow with a strip about 1 1/2 inches wide left over.

Time to start sewing these into rows! Have a great day!

Love it, Katy. I have never tried the faux border idea but I like it and will keep it in mind when I’m not sure my fabric choice will be enough for all the alternate blocks.

Just out of curiosity (and that I love to learn things about color) what color would you have considered for the outside blocks if you’d done the faux border?
