Slow Stitching Sunday

I’ve finally gotten back to my Ladies Aid BOM. I’m two blocks behind.

I’ve chosen the fabrics and started basting them in place.

This block is supposed to have a butterfly between the trees.

I’m not a fan of butterflies. I’d like to put a small bird there, if I can find a pattern that fits my skill set. Otherwise, I may add a small red heart.

Have a great day!

I like butterflies, birds, and “happy little clouds”. Whatever you decide, it’ll be perfect because it’ll be your version!

how about a ‘happy little cloud’ ala bob ross. i’ve been quiet with not feeling well. not to worry. your recent finishes and pictures have been a joy. i loved the pic of E2? with his new quilt. so many kids just yawn. thanks for your words of consolation a few days ago. they mean alot. take care and stitch enough for both of us. patti in florida btw, did you hand baste those trees. jo morton showed us how to back-baste with a sewing machine. it is easier. but then i’m not a big fan of handwork.

  3. Not a fan of butterflies here, either – hope you can find a bird that fits!
