Lori at Humble Quilts recently held a quilt along. I always join in on these! She does a great job and I always end up with something I love. Here are my blocks.
If they seem a little bit big, they are. Lori made 6 inch blocks and I made mine 8 inches. I did that because I had pieces cut that would work, but they were bigger. Works for me! Here is the layout.
Lori’s blocks are much scrappier than mine and I like hers better. But I still love this enough that I’m thinking about making more blocks!
It’s my favorite color combo!

I agree that if I were to make it I would need to make them the size I have fabrics cut: 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″ and 4 1/2″. But I have trouble figuring the change for cutting.
Your blocks look great! I had to laugh that you made yours bigger because you had pieces that would work for that size. I made mine smaller for the same reason. 🙂
