I finally figured out how I wanted to quilt this and got going on it.

Excuse the messy hair, Mr. Wonderful bought matching shirts for Winslow and me. ๐

E3 visited last week. I asked him why he was holding his nose and he said he had stinky feet.

I passed up this old crate at the recent antique fest we went to. I kind of regret it.

Took this little guy to the lark after school. It doesnโt take long for him to get dirty, but just look at that beautiful smile!

E1 has something called Childhood Apraxia of Speech. itโs a neurological issue where he knows what he wants to say, but the message gets garbled between his brain and his mouth. It makes communication difficult. But this boy always smiles. He is a favorite of all his teachers. He has the most tender, beautiful heart. Iโm grated every single day that I get to be his Nana. He is such a gift!
Have a great day!
LOVE your matching shirts!!
That quilt you are quilting is stunning!
Love the shirts!
Apraxia is treatable. I have seen several cases, and it is amazing what time and effort can do. On a separate note, I love the crosshatch quilting.
Mr Wonderful has a great sense of humor – haha! E1 is a handsome little fellow, and I’m sure he knows he is well loved by you. His grin is contagious!
You are such a good Nana, I love that about you! I love your tee shirts, Mr. Wonderful did good. ๐ I love the quilt you are quilting. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs,
Katy, do you have a pattern/instructions for this block?
