I finally started the quilting on this improv project. I started with machine quilting.
Here is the back. Not my smoothest work, it it isn’t done yet.
I’m going back and adding hand quilting with pearl cotton. It’s very relaxing hand work.

Great synchronization of quilt design with piecing design! And I really like the addition of the perle cotton. I keep meaning to play with adding hand stitching, but so far haven’t had a quilt that wanted it.
I love the colors your have put together in this. They are so dynamic. The hand quilting between rows is just the right touch. This is going to be a beauty.
