Slow Stitching Sunday

I finished one Pomegranate block and have started the second.

I played around a bit with this in a layout app.

This isn’t actually the first Pomegranate quilt I’ve made. I machine appliquéd this one a long time ago. Like maybe 20 years? I’d completely forgotten about it!

Have a great day!

Have you thought of a circle of nine for a layout? If you do a Pinterest search, you can see some examples of how spacers are used to create a circle with 8 blocks and have one in the middle. I found a book that had a lot of examples and an explanation and just made a top with that layout. I love it! It would look great with the pomegranates.
