Leader/Ender Update

Very little sewing has been happening this week. I’ve been focused on cleaning closets and getting rid of stuff. Not fun, but it feels good to see a bit of progress. Once again, I’m also very behind on responding to comments. I do read and appreciate each one!

A while back, I shared my new leader/ender project. I have made a little progress on that over the last few weeks.

I started throwing bits up on the design wall.

Then I decided to start sewing things together.

I was inspired by a Gee’s Bend quilt. Mine will be a bit less wonky. I have no idea how big it will end up.

This showed up this week.

Aaaahhhh! I love a new roll of batting!

Have a great day!

I love what you are doing with the triangles! I have many among my leader and ender sewing because I make so many flying geese, hence bonus triangles. Someday I’ll deal with them.

Wow, all the ribbons! Congratulations!! I am curious what your go to batting is? I will have to order again soon. I have just been using Hobbs 80/20 and buying wool batts when I wanted to use wool..I recently bought an 80/20 dream cotton/wool batt to try but haven’t used it yet.
