I got a present in the mail the other day. The mister and I are signed up for a motorcycle class in July! I can’t wait! My dad used to ride and back in the day, I’d ride with him. But I’ve never driven one. I can’t wait to learn.
This also showed up. Ugh. I get it, civic duty and all that, but this is the fifth time for me!
Some recent happy mail from very thoughtful and generous bloggy friends. š
One of my favorite summer things, hanging my sheets on the line!
I’ve been trying to learn continental knitting. It’s supposed to be easier on your hands. I started a sock and ripped it out twice before trying something easier.
I don’t even want to tell you how long it took me to knit this little cactus! I might try another before I try socks again. I keep dropping stitches. Clearly, I need more practice.
Have a great day!
I’ve been knitting socks for a long time and have a pattern for “socks on 2 circular needles” that are foolproof. I’d be willing to share it with you if you’d like to try it. To me they are so easy to do with this method. I’ve taught others to do it too.
Ha, I got a jury summons this week too! This is the first one since we moved 2.5 years ago so I guess I can’t complain š That knitted cactus is adorable!!!
I miss my clothesline. We had to take it down to redo our septic system. It will get back up eventually. Nothing beats the lovely scent of sheets hung on the line! You are an adventurous soul – have fun with the classes!
