I hate the way the quilting turned out on this. But I did learn how to prevent this ugliness on future quilts. I’m not going to take the time to finish this as is. I’m going to leave it hanging out though. I might cut it up and repurpose somehow.
I walked a labyrinth last week I haven’t done this since I lived in France. It’s a good tool for meditative prayer.
Daughter #2 sent this photo. Jack is going to bloom! I’m excited even though I won’t be there to see it. To me, it means he is happy in his new home.
E3….such a sweet face. When he comes to Nana’s, he likes to watch Jeep videos.
Yes, I’m that dog mom. But actually, the mister picked these outfits up for the pups!
Have a great day!
What if you make a big, simple carry-all bag out of the top quilt. Good for groceries, take along crafts, road trip supplies….etc. Lovely quilt put to a higher purpose.
What don’t you like about the quilting, Katy? I’ve had a few similar experiences, so I’m curious.
If after a while you still dislike it so much…..how about placemats!
Oh my goodness…Hate is a big bad word for such an interesting piece. Put it away for awhile, you will like it later.
I don’t see any deficiencies in the quilting!
Why don’t you like it? Once you block it and face it, it will be fine.
I have followed you online for years. I love the modern wallhnging that you hate……I would put it up on my wall right now. Please don’t cut it up. Please don’t!
