I finished this little piece over the weekend.
I used the same thick button thread that I used on my Hexie project to quilt it with big stitches.
I almost used a red binding, but I didn’t want to take attention away from the center.
Thus fun piece made the perfect backing.
I have no idea what I’ll do with this, but I do love it. I want to make more of these small quilts to play with color.

Your terrific hand quilting almost makes me want to do a hand quilted project. Almost.
The blue in the center of this little quilt seems to glow. It gives me the feeling of being in a dark room and looking out the window at the sky. Very cool!
