Did you see this coming? I love strippy quilts.
When I was a kid, I was told that red and pink don’t match, they clash. I didn’t understand that. Tan was a lighter shade of brown and they went together. Light and dark blues went together. Wasn’t pink just a lighter shade of red?
And so I’ve included pink pieces in with my red. So there, fashion police!
The quilting is a make it up as you go process. But the binding will definitely be pink.

Those were such silly rules, as a child I loved orange and purple and blue and green together and was to told that they don’t go together…well I still think that they do!
