A Little Inspiration

I have a series of posts this week on a project I completed when I was back in Michigan. I took photos and wrote posts, and then forgot to publish! So here you go.

I was inspired by this pile of fabrics on my cutting table and started cutting.

These are the dies I used. Oops! That bottom one is a square that measures 3″ finished on point.

Can you tell where I’m headed here?

Progress!

Stay tuned for part 2! Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing adult kids, and a former librarian. I love making everything from traditional quilts to art quilts. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

    Luscious colors!

  2. I was thinking of you while I was cleaning up my bin from the Round Robin quilt – “I should send all these scraps to Katy – she’d whip something right up!” I’ll be watching to see where this is going!
