I found a tiny project on Pinterest and decided it was perfect for a wintry day. Here is a screen shot of the original page from an auction site.
I have no idea what size that is, but it looks tiny. I planned to cut 1 1/2 inch strips, but at the last minute, I went with 1 1/4 inch.
This is how I pressed the back.
Ta daaaa!
But wait! I had leftover bits.
If I add these, it will throw off the symmetry. But I hate having leftovers. What to do, what to do…:
Stay tuned.
I applaud you for figuring it out just by the photo on Pinterest. I am not quite at that point yet, I always want it all figured out and I just cut and sew, then quilt. Very cute doll quilt! Regarding the extra bits, you could add it to a zipper pouch or make a different mini.
I agree with Wendy that those little pieces could make a back…or pillows?
I love it when little quilts aren’t symmetrical! Darling!!
Pin cushion. Can never have too many and a small one comes in handy for hand sewing. Love small quilts.
Put the extra piece on the back? Maybe? Cute, though!
