Slow Knitting Sunday?

Yes, I’m back to a bit of knitting. Daughter #1 gifted me with some gorgeous hand dyed super wash merino wool ages ago. I’ve finally gotten up the courage to use it.

You probably can’t tell, but I’m making a simple hat. It has grown a bit.

I have to be careful to not do too much in one sitting as my wrists rebel.

I hope I have enough yarn to make matching mittens. I’d rather forgotten how addicting this can be!

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

That yarn is gorgeous, and your knitting looks great! Matching mitts might be just what you need – Arizona can get cool at times, correct?

Love the colors in the yarn! I am knitting today, too…a Christmas stocking for our niece’s baby boy (so is it great nephew or grand nephew?!…I never can remember!)… who will celebrate his first Christmas this year.
I cannot believe today is November 1! Where has the time gone?
Looking forward to following along on the progress on your knitting…keep us posted!
