Troublesome Tuesday

This used to be my main machine quilting machine.

But I haven’t used it for that since I got my long arm. I decided to pull it out and give it a try on this little quilt from the quilt along.

Ummmmm…..

I can’t remember what walking foot I used to use! Why did I wait so long to look at the back? After ripping that all out, I tried another walking foot.

Oh bother!

Finally, that looks better.

This will be a humble quilt indeed! Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

Your persistence paid off. The back looks smooth and even. You won’t regret making it the best it can be.

I think I have that same machine but no accessories. It was my moms machine and I learned to sew with it. Now I use it for piecing.

  3. Is that a Featherweight? Or a Pfaff 130?

  4. I use to piece and quilt on the same machine. I had forgotten that I released all pressure on presser foot when I used it again. I will stick to quilting on my Juki2010 and use this for piecing. Hope you have a great day.
