Slow Stitching Sunday

Are you sick of this yet? The second corner is done!

I’m so pleased with how this is coming along. I have 26 out of 86 flowers to go! I’m starting to think about binding. This will get trimmed square after quilting. I do not possess the fortitude for a zig zag binding! I’m thinking about bubble gum pink, but I’m open to suggestions. 😄

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

This quilt is awesome! It truly makes me want to bring out my grandmother’s flower garden and finish the hand quilting I started several years ago.
