Slow Stitching Sunday

I’m thrilled to say I’m over halfway through hand quilting this!

It felt so good to finish this corner.

My helpers are ready to go to work.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I was wondering, did you baste this on your longarm in preparation to hand quilt?

It is always amazing to me how the quilting adds so much to an already lovely piece.

I love how that shade of green ( in the pictures anyway) pulls it all together and gives such an old fashioned feel.
I gotta say that when I hand piece a quilt I can not find it it in me to then turn around and machine quilt it.

Looking good, Katy! I really love the green…goes with everything, and really makes all the print fabrics pop!
    Thanks for sharing!
