Vintage Quilts

Today I am sharing some more quilts I saw last weekend while out junking with the mister. None of these came home with me.

Mmm

This top was tempting.

It was foundation pieced.

I loved this one too. It was sewn yo a backing wth what felt like a blanket for batting, but it had no quilting.

Fun blocks!

These bow ties were only about two inches square!

Hope you enjoyed seeing these. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

  1. Love these glimpses of vintage quilts – thanks for sharing!

  2. I’d have been tempted to grab the quilt third from the bottom. All the fabrics are fun, and I like the whacked off blocks by the border. 🙂

  3. The black and foundation pieced top would have been the most tempting for me. So many pretty things to look at.
