I’m glad I took this project with me to AZ. I only spent a few hours on it, but it was enough to get me going.
After being home a few days, I got back to it.
I sewed 25 rows of 36 tumblers and ended up with this monster.
It currently measures 106 wide by 100 long. This annoys me greatly. But do I want to add two more rows and borders? Sigh….
Time for a cup of coffee and a good think….
Have a great day!
the result is great! I did not look again at the size of the tumblers. Can you help me ?
Wow, that was fast work and that’s a huge quilt! Looking great. You can either leave it, trim it, or add to it!
I am so impressed with how much you get done. I was wondering how you decide what sizes and shapes you decide to cut your scraps into. I am overrun with various scraps and am at a lose as to what the best tactic is for dealing with them.
Love all those tumblers! Scrappy quilts are my favorites and this one is looking great! Looking forward to seeing if this becomes even larger….or not!
Thanks for sharing!
Good heavens! That is a large quilt. I am amazed that it came together so quickly once it came together, but my projects often seem to be that way, too.
So pretty! It must be fun to reminisce about each scrap and the quilt it came from. I have a tumble quilt in my future, maybe soon.
