Finish It Up Friday ~ Vintage Hour Glass

It’s done! Thanks to a long road trip, I was able to finish hand quilting and binding this beauty.

I truly enjoyed the process of hand quilting this. It was my first time using the big stitch quilting method, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last.

I used plain muslin on the back. I love it for vintage tops and it really shows off the quilting.

The beautiful scraps kept me entertained!

I’m rather sorry to see this one done!

I think I’ll take a nap now.

    Oh wow this is gorgeous! Congratulations on a fabulous finish! The quilting does add a lot to this already beautiful quilt top. Great choice of pattern, fabrics and quilting.
