TBThursday ~ Small Vintage Quilts

I’m sharing a few of my small vintage quilts today.

This one has been around the house got a long time. One of my kids brought it home from their grandma’s house to cover a stuffed animal. I have no idea who made it. It is entirely made of feed sacks.

Hubby bought this one for me at an antique show. It is so sweet!

And this one Daughter #3 picked up for me at an estate sale. I love the fan quilting.

I picked this one up at an antique shop in Phoenix .

And this one was a thrift store find.

I find so much charm in these little pieces and wonder about the little ones that loved them.

Have a great day!

These small vintage quilts are so charming and intersting; they bring you back in the history
and life of an other generation. And sometimes they make a statement.

I love both of the hand embroidered quilts. Much love went into each of them. I, too, wonder about the little babes that were cuddled in them.

Each one is so sweet, love the feedsack and thrift store ones.

  4. These are such sweet small quilts. I love the “red cross” one so much. The lion in the green block is sort of “one of these things is not like the other” in such a whimsical way!
