Court House Steps Turned Log Cabin

I got this far and had to call a time out. I even ripped it out.

Put the pieces back in order and gave it a think.

And played a bit.

I like this next one best so far.

I never intended to reproduce the little quilt I saw exactly, but I still have no idea where this will end up yet.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

  1. Log cabins are so versatile. Your bright (yet traditional) fabrics are fantastic!
