My pillow is done and I’m quite pleased with it! A big thanks to Deanna for the nudge. Here is the top after quilting.
This is the back. There is a zipper under that flap.
I stitched the front and back wrong sides together and added a binding.
Looks just like a small quilt!
Until you add the pillow form!
Here is a peek at the zipper.
I’m so glad I did this! It wasn’t as hard as I expected. Now to come up with a plan for that other pillow form.
Have a great day!
Did you follow a tutorial for adding the zipper or do you just know how to do it?
Woot woot! Looks good! I’m working on a Crazy Star pillow.
I’ve made several pillows, but I’ve never used binding… I REALLY like the look!
YAY! I love the results.
What a cute pillow and it looks perfect on the quilt.
I love, love, LOVE it!
You are going to miss that bolt of green fabric when you’re done with it. That pillow is so cute. Cindy Nelson

Oh my! A zipper! That’s fancy.
Love this pillow, Katy! I have made dozens of pillow over the years and have never inserted a zipper…I think I need to, for a pillow I am making this weekend!
Thanks for the inspiration!!
Hi Katy, a nice pillow It feels good to see that you keep going on with
your hobby! For me small projects are a pleasure in a “hot” summer !
I’ve never put a zippered backing on my pillows, but I need to give it a try. Cute pillow, Katy! Those quick little projects are so satisfying, aren’t they?!
Oh how wonderful! It looks just great with that quilt. I’ve done that flap method of inserting a zipper and it is easy and does work great for a pillow closure.
