Slow Stitching and Other Things

I only got 12 of these done on my trip. I read a book the whole way home. I hope to get a few more done today.

I really do like how it looks!

I stopped at my favorite fabric store while I was in AZ, but their inventory was quite low. This is all I came home with.

The top piece is wide backing.

I’ve managed to get this Liberty top done.

No idea when it will get quilted. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

What’s the fave quilt store in AZ? I’m in Tucson.

  2. Love that liberty top! I have some little squares and was wondering what to do with them. To set them with another fabric is a great idea to be able to make it a larger project!

I have a quilt similar to this. It is backed with Liberty of London fabric. I liked the lightweight feel so much my next two quilts were backed with Liberty. It is a wonderful finishing touch.
