I’m participating in another doll quilt swap (sorry, sign ups are closed). I’ve been trolling the interwebs looking at antique doll quilts for ideas. Then I saw this post on Barbara Brackman’s blog, Material Culture, about madder prints. It reminded me that I had this repro cheater print in my stash.
Here is the selvedge info.
She also shared this gem on her post.
I’ve been wanting to use that cheater print as a small quilt back and it would be perfect for a quilt like the one above. These prints are not all madder prints, but I think they will work.
I’ll do some more digging in the stash before I start cutting.
Have a great day!
I like your new or older stash very much.,
, because I adore madder Fabrics.
I am looking forward at what you will make.
Can you tell me something about the desighner of your stash?
The cat quilt is strong.
Take care .
That is a delicious print!
I’ve never seen that cheater print! It is awesome, as is the top!!
