I’m doing a little sewing this week, but not anything that I can share just yet. I did get the tumblers together.
Now it’s long enough, but not wide enough. Sigh….
Hubby has been cooking lately.
You can see that I’m not going hungry!
We woke up to this on Monday. Thankfully it was gone by late afternoon.
I’m thinking about making a Scrappy Trips quilt with these jelly rolls. All three are the same.
I can’t decide if it would be modern or boring. Back to my secret sewing.
Have a great day!
Love the tumbler quilt with the neutral blocks between the print blocks – it tones down the busyness just a bit.
I’m still cutting my printed tumblers, so I don’t have to decide how to put mine together just yet!
Substitute the word “subtle” for “boring.” Create interest other than by color. Have fun whatever you do.
great job on the quilt
What if you put a pop of color into each gray and black block, or made it into a contrasting chain? I just did a scrappy trip with one chain of red through each block, breaks up the monotony.
I love snow and love your jelly rolls. Now no holding back, we all know you staged the picture of the snow and this particular colored fabric jelly roll perfectly. ๐๐. I have a niece who also agrees that this is our Favorite color palette. So, here is one reader who canโt wait to see what you do with these fabrics.
The quilt could be both modern and boring!
Iโm not suggesting that it will be, just that it is a possible outcome. I have definitely seen quilts which qualified as such.
Hubs has been cooking here too, which I enjoy. However, keeping up with dishes is a bit more challenging than usual! I like that tumbler quilt!
