I made my pilgrimage to SAS Fabrics in Phoenix on my recent trip. I bought a bit under 25 yards total.

I loved these panels. The first is National Parks.

This is such a great fabric for Quilts of Valor!

I loved these African wax prints.

Cool label!

When I buy yardage, I always roll it up on a ruler and then slide the ruler out. This way my yardage all stacks neatly. I also pin a little note with the yardage amount on it.

My daughter snuck this photo of me fabric shopping.

This is the first time this year that I have bought fabric this year except for some wide muslin for quilt backs i purchased in January.
Have a great day!

Lucky you buying African wax !
In the Netherlands we have a long history with producing wax fabrics.
I am sure you will be succesfull .
That looks like our M & L Fabric here in SoCal with miles of fabric. Great choices, Katy.
It looks like you found several treasures there. I too have started labeling my larger pieces of fabric before I fold them on a large ruler. I mark the number of yards on the selvedge with a Pigma pen – it saves a lot of unfolding and remeasuring.
That looks like a fun shop! You are giving some serious consideration to something in that stack!
