Finished or Not Friday

In this case that would be a big NOT! I started quilting this on Wednesday.

I kept debating on the quilting and thought I had a great idea. I would quilt a diagonal grid, and then put a wavy grid in between.

Yuck. I hated it. I thought then that maybe it just needed more. Nope. This led to hours of unquilting.

And finally requilting.

But it still felt lacking. So once again, I’m adding more quilting.

Better. But there is no finish today. Such is life. Have a good one!

    The closer grid quilting is excellent – suits the quilt perfectly.

    You are not alone in your unpicking. That has happened to me. Love the grid choice. Hate to admit I have done more than one quilt in cross-hatching.

    Oh but it is a great Not finish!! ha ha – I really like where you are going with the grid quilting – it add so much dimension to this one!
