I have twins! Twin quilts, that is. My Chisel Star quilts are done.
I used two different pantographs and two different battings. The one above is Pellon Legacy 80/20. The one below is Mountain Mist 80/20. The Pellon is beefier and I like it, but my last roll had oil spots here and there. That means trimming out the spots and basting in batting patches. So when I found a good deal on the Mountain Mist for Prime day, I decided to try it. It feels more like Hobbs 80/20. At this point, the jury is still out. I’ll let you know later on how I feel about it.
Here are the two side by side.
Have a great day!

I love these quilts. Now I know exactly what I want to do for a baby quilt I need to start!
How wonderful. They will be well loved.
Love both your quilts! May I ask what pantos you used?
Congrats on your twins!! I’m a fan of that Pellon batting. In the quilting. The washing has yet to be tested.
I didn’t pick up on the differences when seeing the quilts separately – only when you set them side by side. I love them!
Fabulous!
Love your Twin Quilts!! And I love the colors you used – what a great palette…..and I am with you on battings – its always fun to see how they work – I still love quilters dream products..
Those are sew cute Katy, love the pantos you chose.
Two nice finishes! Can’t go wrong with stars. It will be interesting to see what you think of the Mountain Mist.
Two great finishes! I love the quilting on both and the fabrics are beautiful.
