Designing a QOV

I have several people I’d like to present Quilts of Valor to this fall. I have one done, but need to get going on two more. I had leftover blocks from the mystery quilt that I participated in last fall and they match this panel.

In this photo, you can see the whole panel. I never liked the faux patchwork on the ends so I would cut those off, I think.

Hmmmm…..have to think about this one.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I’m sure you’ll come up with something wonderful. Agree with you about the faux patchwork ends of it.

The amount of work you do with QOV quilts is so impressive! I am working on a quilt that I would like to present to one of my neighbors. I have read the info on the QOV website, but am still unsure how to go about presenting a quilt to a specific person. I would appreciate any suggestions you can give me.
