Sometimes you have to scratch an itch…..or sew a mini….. I saw this cute little quilt on eBay.
And decided to make my own in a slightly smaller size. The original is about 16 by 19 inches, according to the description.
I used vintage fabric scraps. The binding is wonky. But this quilt is pretty tiny so I’m going to let that slide.
It finished at a bit under 4 by 5 inches.
It is stiff as a board with the quilting, but it was fun.
Have a great day!
the one for sale… WAY overpriced!
So cute!!! and so tiny!!!
Sweet and a lot easier on the pocketbook.
Super darling and so tiny!!
It’s so sweet. And in that last photo my very first split second reaction was wow that’s a huge quarter, ha ha. Tiny quilt!
your mini is SEW cute — I’m not brave enough to make something so small đŸ™‚
What fun! Those “gotta make this” projects are the best. The wonky binding just adds to the quilt, I think!
I love it! Based on your first photo I would have never guessed it was that small. That is tiny! I have tried making a couple tiny blocks and it was so much harder than I expected. You did such a fantastic job, as usual.
